Los Angeles Police Academy Memorial Signs

The memorial sign in front of the Los Angeles Police Academy, on Academy Road in Elysian Park, directly north of Dodger Stadium, includes individual memorial signs for 20 LAPD officers who died in the line of duty outside of the Los Angeles city limits.

Each memorial sign points toward the location where the officer died, including two officers who were killed in action during military deployment in Afghanistan in 2010.
